Important game to mention about took place in Siroki Brijeg. First ranked BosnianSiroki (7-1) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 10th ranked North Macedonian MZT Skopje (4-4) 111-109 on Tuesday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Siroki made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. MZT Skopje was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard DMitrik Trice (183-1996, college: Wisconsin) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Croatian center Matej Bosnjak (204-2002, college: Wichita St.) who added 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Elijah McCadden (193-1999, college: Memphis) responded with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import guard Mack Smith-McEwen (191-1998, college: W.Michigan) scored 25 points and 4 assists. Five Siroki and four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. Siroki have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. Defending North Macedonian champion MZT Skopje keeps the tenth place with four games lost.
